The Texas Defense Aerospace Manufacturing Community (TDAMC) focuses on building smart manufacturing communities to reinvigorate U.S. aerospace manufacturers. Successful implementation of smart manufacturing technologies, workforce training, and assistance to small and medium-sized manufacturers through our program can strengthen Texas to be the dominant ecosystem and location for defense aerospace manufacturing in the U.S.

Who We Are
Our mission is to introduce targeted smart manufacturing skills and technologies into the Texas defense aerospace manufacturing ecosystem. This ecosystem includes traditional and non-traditional contractors. We aim to meet current and future U.S. Department of Defense needs, including industrial surge production capability requirements.

Our Region
Members can be found across the entire state with a focus on the region known as the Texas Triangle. This encompasses Dallas-Ft. Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, the aerospace-heavy counties surrounding Corpus Christi, and the Rio Grande Valley with its emerging space activities. Our region covers 77,000 square miles, which is 29% of the state of Texas.
