TDAMC is led by Texas A&M Engineering Workforce Development. We connect industry, government, research organizations and academia to address key challenges within regional coalitions that make up Texas’ defense aerospace manufacturing ecosystem.
Organizational Structure
The Texas Defense Aerospace Manufacturing Community is a central entity that joins regional coalitions; from academia and workforce development organizations to manufacturers and integrators, across federal, state, and local government. This allows deployment to be flown into and needs to be shared out of each region. Texas A&M University is at the center of all of these coalitions, providing offerings, resources and information.
The Texas Defense Aerospace Manufacturing ecosystem connects regional coalitions of industry, government, academia, and workforce organizations to support smart manufacturing and meet Department of Defense capability requirements.

Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station
The Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) brings an in-place, active, state and national network of partners to provide world-class leadership in securing the U.S. manufacturing and defense industrial base through applied research, education, workforce development, and technology transition.
Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program
The Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program (DMCSP) is designed to support long-term community investments. These investments strengthen national security innovation and expand the capabilities of the defense manufacturing industrial ecosystem.
Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation
The Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation (OLDCC) is a field activity under the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment within the Department of Defense. It provides technical and financial assistance to states and communities that are invested in the defense mission.
