DRIVE AM stands for Driving Research, Innovation, and Value through Education in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT). The University of Texas, El Paso, and the W. M. Keck Center established this world-class initiative. The program was so successful that it’s gone through several phases, now focusing on northeast Ohio. The program aims to bolster the local economy and provide the Department of Defense with new contractors. Its goal is to create a tool with input from users to assist small to medium-sized manufacturers (SMMs) in their day-to-day operational decisions. We want to ensure SMMs get support in today’s quickly changing environment.
Intro to Industrial AM Training Topics:
The University of Texas-San Antonio Cyber Range was created to address this critical gap. It introduces a new training approach by providing a hyperrealistic, virtual SOC environment, where your team can train in responding to real-world, simulated cyberattacks and dramatically improve their skills.
Your IT team’s time is precious. Their training needs to be accessible, so they can train before or after their shift without leaving the office. By training with UTSA Cloud Range, your team can log in anytime, anywhere, and start a simulated training session within minutes, either individually, or as a team.
Come join us for a live simulated Cyber Attack inside the UTSA Cyber Range. I will lead the attack and you can observe. We will be using real-world network security tools, real-world simulated attacks and we will be working on a real-world virtualized network that includes application servers, database servers, email servers, switches, routers, and simulated internet traffic.
Additionally, all attendees will receive a discount to unlimited training on the UTSA Cyber Range. Don’t miss out! See a live attack in real-time.

The number of small manufacturers in the U.S. defense industrial base is shrinking. Thousands of businesses – more than 40% of the total – have left the space over the past decade. In order to keep our nation’s armed forces moving, we must create new bridges between the Department of Defense and the nation’s manufacturing base.
The Defense Industrial Base Conference (DIBCON) was created to address this need. While other defense industry conferences and manufacturing expos exist, there is no single national event that brings together small manufacturers, economic development organizations, defense industry leaders, and DoD.
Until now.
Only direct engagement will get new manufacturers to raise their hand and say they want to help. We need to empower these small businesses to compete to aid our nation’s defensive surge capacity. The purpose of DIBCON is to create that opportunity.
